• Manage the care of patients within area of expertise (General and Minimally Invasive Surgery) within parameters of medical staff privileges.

• Perform physical exam and record findings.

• Participate in the educational experiences of nursing students, medical students, residents and other health care disciplines by leading case conferences, serving as a preceptor and mentor.
• Coordinate and lead a journal club and quality or safety initiative by integrating practice and education for both students and staff.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing and Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an RN in General and Minimally Invasive Surgery or critical care.
• General office environment. Regular travel not expected but may occur occasionally around previously scheduled events. Requires sitting for extended periods of time, standing, visual acumen, manual dexterity and fingering for working with computer key boards.
